T-type flat gasket 1m EPDM - description
Flat gasket slim EPDM type T 1m for photovoltaic structures
Gasket for connections between photovoltaic panels. Its non-accidental shape adapts to the space between the panels, creating a structure that protects against water leakage.
The advantage of the gasket is the material from which it is made and the ease of installation. Thanks to the flexible wedges protruding from the gasket shaft, it is enough to press it between the panels, and the resilient teeth will make it difficult to move or tear the profile out of the mounting strip.
The gasket is particularly useful in the construction and sealing of photovoltaic shelters of the "CARPORT" type.
The gasket is made of a flexible, durable EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber) rubber compound, thanks to which it is characterized by:
- high resistance to ageing and weather conditions, ozone and UV radiation
- resistance to organic and inorganic acids, cleaning agents, potassium and sodium bases
- maintaining its properties in the temperature range from -50°C to +130°C
- elasticity and susceptibility to stretching
- good memory of the original shape
