Principle of sand filtration
Powerful sand filtration uses silica sand to separate impurities, which creates a natural resistance to the water flowing from the pool and thus captures most of the impurities in the gaps. The cleaned water then returns back to the pool. Sand filtration and its principle are also used in the purification of drinking water, because simple and inexpensive cleaning or replacing the sand filling significantly reduces operating costs.
