The Integral Mount type protective glasses is a safety equipment designed to protect the eyes from possible risks or injuries during different work or recreational activities. It is composed of a frame that completely covers the eye contour and a lens made of Polycarbonate with Anti-fog treatment, which guarantees clear vision without fogging even in humid environments or with temperature changes.
To provide a comfortable and secure fit, the glasses has an adjustable elastic band, which allows it to be adapted to different sizes and head shapes. This ensures that the glasses stay in place during use, preventing slippage or movements that may compromise eye protection.
In terms of regulations and safety standards, the glasses comply with CE EN 166, which means that it has been tested and certified to meet the safety requirements set for eye protection equipment in Europe. In particular, it has been evaluated under various conditions:
1. High speed counter-impact: The glasses have been subjected to high-speed impact tests to ensure that it can withstand the force generated by objects moving at high speed, avoiding eye injuries.
2. Medium energy at extreme temperatures (LV): Tests have been carried out in extreme temperature conditions to ensure that the glasses maintain their properties and protection even in extreme hot or cold environments.
3. Protection against liquid droplets: The glasses have been evaluated to ensure their ability to protect the eyes against the risk of splashes or spills of liquids, providing an effective barrier.
In addition, the glasses comply with the requirements established by the EU 2016/425 safety standard, which regulates personal protective equipment within the European Union. It also complies with the harmonized standard EN166, which specifies the design, construction and performance requirements of protective eyewear.
Compliance with these standards and test results have been issued by the notified body SGS Laboratory in a report dated 6 April 2020. This guarantees the quality and reliability of the protective glasses, providing users with the necessary security to perform their activities without risks to their eyes.
