All Horox cards are shuffled and, depending on the number of players, 7-15 cards are laid out in a circle on the table. Each card on the table is the beginning of a row that gets longer and longer as the game progresses. Whoever places the fifth card on one of these rows must take it. Each player whose turn it is is allowed to put on one to three cards. Since there can be cards with green and red horns in a row, every player tries to avoid the rows with many red horns. Unfortunately, this does not always succeed.
